GIVING BACK

UMCU lives by the philosophy of “people helping people” so we give back throughout the year to different local organizations to support our communities.

Campaign Goals: To bring awareness to different local nonprofits and give back through collections and monetary donations to help grow our communities.

Campaign Assets: Emails, social media, and in-branch signage

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Brand & Marketing team at the Giveback Committee Meetings

  • Brainstorm ways to incorporate the give back efforts into our brand and marketing assets

  • Develop designs for each giveback campaign

  • Collaborate with UMCU’s writer and digital marketing manager to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

  • Manage the sourcing, printing, and distribution of campaign assets to vendors.

Campaign Success: In 2024, UMCU collected and donated toys, books, and games to support over 400 families at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. During the second year of the Play It Forward Campaign, UMCU collected over 200 gently used instruments to benefit Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Schools.
